Seasonal Pool Opening & Closing Services
Leave your pool with confidence. Return to it swim-ready.
"Heading north for the summer or closing up your vacation home? A pool left unattended can turn green, grow algae, and develop equipment problems. Our seasonal services keep your pool protected while you're away and ready to enjoy when you return."
Hey! It's Kevin from Firewater Pools!
Hi, I'm Kevin, the owner of Firewater Pools. I started this company with a simple mission: to provide pool service that homeowners can actually rely on. After years of hearing about 'pool guys' who never showed up or skipped steps, I knew there was a better way. I built this business on transparency, communication, and genuine craftsmanship. When you hire us, you're getting a dedicated partner who cares about your pool as much as you do.

Seasonal Pool Service FAQs
Should I drain my pool when I leave for the season?
No. Draining a pool in Florida can cause the shell to pop out of the ground due to hydrostatic pressure from groundwater. Keep your pool filled and maintained, even when you're away.
How often should someone check on my pool while I'm gone?
For Florida summers, we recommend at least bi-weekly visits to maintain chemistry, run equipment, and catch any issues early. Monthly is a minimum, but problems can develop quickly in our climate.
What happens if there's a hurricane while I'm away?
We offer storm preparation services for our seasonal clients. We'll secure equipment, adjust water levels, and check on your pool after the storm passes.
Can you coordinate with my property manager or neighbor?
Absolutely. We work with property managers, neighbors, and home watch services regularly. We can provide access updates and coordinate as needed.
How far in advance should I schedule opening service?
Book your opening service at least 1-2 weeks before you arrive. Spring is our busy season, and earlier booking ensures your pool is ready when you get here.
